Start Brussels sprouts indoors 4-6 wks before last frost, or direct sow mid-May to mid-June. Set out or plant in full sun to partial shade. Plant Heirloom Brussels sprouts seeds ¼ – ½” deep, 4-6″ apart, in rows 18-36″ apart. Germination occurs in 5-17 days in soil 55-70°F . Thin plants to 12-24″ apart. For best flavor and tenderness, harvest after plants have endured a couple of frosts.
